I can carry out all your servicing needs, from oil and filter changes to major overhauls, engine strip and rebuilds . Insurance repairs can be carried out at your request with your motorcycle insurance provider. Arrange your Wings MOT for you and carry out any necessary pre or post work. Carry out all major work in my fully equipped workshop.
I am based in Telford Shropshire, I set up "AwingAway" in early 2009 following a major change in direction and a passion for everything Goldwing. I have over 40 years experience of riding and servicing Goldwing's and have owned more than one or two of every model so far. In all the years of motorcycling, my wife and i have covered thousands of miles all over Europe as well as here in the UK and Ireland. I have a long career in engineering starting with jet engines in the RAF, I was an owner driver of HGV’s, spent many years in the vehicle recovery industry including many years as a trained motor mechanic. I am a member of the IAM for motorcycles, cars, PSV’s and HGV's. I have also been a member of the GWOCGB (on and off) since the early 80’s and have attended many wingdings and Treffens in the UK as well as in Europe and Ireland.
