Dear Dave.
Just a quick Sincere Thank You for all the hospitality given me whilst up at
the workshop. After replacing the Standard ball bearing races with (superior)
Tapered Headstock Bearings and re building the front forks properly as they
supposedly had been by the dealer 4 times before! (Including finding a sawn
off bolt rattling around in the right fork!!) It has transformed my bike from
feeling like it was going to either tip you off or fight it to lean over all the
time, to grinding the foot pegs on the bends with a smile on my face on the
way back from sunny Telford. It really did put the fun back into riding it on
the way back to Suffolk just being able to put it in a corner and know it
would stick (and I did chuck it into some really tight bends) I came to you via
the straightest roads I could find, but came the last of the way home via the
bendy Suffolk country lanes as it was the most enjoyable thing I have done in
a long time, It is definitely better than it originally was when new, and I will
be out on the bike with the wife tomorrow, Sandra has agreed to do the
Santander Home holiday route we talked about as well :-) so the old bus will
be used as it was intended again. Many thanks to you and Adele, and I will
be back as soon as the next service is due. Hope you find the green wings
aerial somewhere.
Regards Richard

Thanks very much for doing a great service on my bike. It had been neglected
for the last 18 months and was very much in need of servicing. Dave was
excellent, every day he would ring me to let me know how the work was
going. He would always start with, do you want the "really bad news, the
bad news or the good news" Sometimes even the very bad news wasn't that
bad. The bike was ready for collection like we had arranged when I dropped
it off despite Dave being up against the clock towards the end, but he still
had it ready, all washed and polished ready for me to ride away.
I can't recommend Dave enough; I will have no hesitation in taking my bike
back to him in the future. Better still was the overall cost, given he had
worked on the bike for five days, thanks
