I contacted Dave following a recommendation from one of the many Gold
Wing forums when I was looking for someone to do some work on my
GL1500. I asked Dave for a quote for a full service and a HID Headlamp
upgrade and to check out some faults. We agreed a date and a price and I
rode up to him from Kent arriving at his workshop around 9.30am.
Dave was very welcoming and showed me into his workshop. He had
another 1500 in being prepared for MOT that he had to take off the hydraulic
bench. He then rode my Canadian import onto the bench and then drained
the engine oil from the wing before we went for tea and bacon sandwiches.

Dave gave me the option to stay or wander into town but as I was interested
to see the bike come apart I stayed. Dave was very instructive and he has
given me confidence to take panels off where I would not have attempted to
do so before.
He carried out a full service and fitted the HID headlamp upgrade and
repaired the left faring lower where the cornering light trim was coming
loose. The other issue is that the cruise control has been defective since I've
had the bike. The Cruise on light no illuminates but it still will not set. Dave

spent a few hours trying to sort this out and we thought it had been cured but
I needed to test it on a run. Unfortunately on the way home the following
morning it still refused to play. It's still work in progress to be continued. I'm
travelling to the Austrian Alps in 2014 and I need it working by then.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dave to other Wing owners. You know
that you get what you pay for, (you can see him do it), at a rate far cheaper
than that of the main dealers.

Good morning Dave thanks once again for taking care of my interstate i have

been out for a brief ride on it on the day you brought it back ( its pissed it
down ever since ) the brakes are out of this world i keep stopping 10 feet
from where i intended good job mate it was nice meeting you and your
charming wife take care oh i know ur a star trek nut did you see there is talk
of a new tv show ? Kapla ollie
